People’s Physiotherapy assesses and treats the whole person

The human body is intricate and complex.

The way you move now is influenced by so many different factors, like how you moved growing up, your old injuries, your strengths and your weaknesses.

All of these have to be considered in order to understand how your body is working. You are as unique as your fingerprint and that is what we try and understand.

Meet Mitch

Mitch grew up on the Central Coast and has finally moved back locally after working for leading physiotherapy clinics in Canada and Sydney.

Mitch is a Physio who loves to get in the trenches with his patients and help them unpack what is going on with their bodies. He is motivated by finding the underlying cause of dysfunction rather than just managing the symptoms endlessly.

Mitch designs an individualised approach to each of his patients, acknowledging that every person is different and each body needs a different approach to treatment and rehabilitation.

Mitch is a conscientious physio who understands healthcare can be intimidating and confusing. He proactively communicates with his patients to educate and empower them to understand their body and ultimately have the tools to self manage.

2025 will mark Mitch’s 10th year in clinical practice as a Physiotherapist He has worked in a range of settings and treated people with a wide range of physical needs and conditions.

He spent 4 years working in Vancouver, Canada with Dr Linda Joy (LJ) Lee studying and learning the ConnectTherapy Approach. He has completed years of further professional development in treatment with a whole person approach.

ConnectTherapy™ and The Thoracic Ring Approach™

ConnectTherapy is a whole body assessment and treatment framework developed by Dr Linda Joy (LJ) Lee.

It is an approach that allows for Physiotherapists to assess the whole body and understand the connections within it.

There is an emphasis on finding the root cause, or the ‘Driver’ of the problem.

People’s Feedback

  • Amber

I went from having migraines most days, chronic pain, dysfunctioning nervous system and subsequent anxiety and depression - to the best I've ever felt in my life physically and mentally, and surfing better than ever, and I credit that so much to Mitch's care, championing, empathy, curiosity and hope. He's not only a great physio, he's just an amazing human. I could not recommend him enough.

  • Jed

Mitch is an extremely gifted, highly professional, deeply empathetic physio. His treatments always leave me feeling both much better (in terms of pain, movement, health) but also significantly more informed and empowered in my recovery. I rave about Mitch to anyone who needs physio work, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. I'm extremely grateful to him for his incredible care, knowledge, and rigorous treatment.

  • Renee

Mitch is fantastic! A perfect combination of incredible knowledge and a desire to figure out exactly what's going on with you. Mitch's ability to tailor treatment to exactly what your body needs is unique and what sets him apart from other Physiotherapists I've seen. If you have any aches or pains, go see Mitch. He will sort you out!

  • Nat

Mitch is the best physio I have ever been to. His unique approach to re-aligning the body and addressing muscle pain works every time. I cannot recommend him enough! You will be in great hands.

  • Annabelle

Mitch is very much focused on finding the right diagnosis and solution. He asks what hurts and what’s bothering you, but he also looks at the rest of you to figure out the source of the issue, and when he changes one thing he looks at how that makes a difference to your before changing another. And by taking this approach you get a long term solution to your issues, not a quick fix release/massage.
